Lately, all i'm hearing and seeing is hcg diet. My fb is full of posts with it and I actually never heard of it.
Since i'm currently dieting, I tought to make a little post of it so I can get some opinions about it!
Human Chorionic Gonadotropin: a hormone produced during pregnancy by the cells that form the placenta. aka they extract it from women piss.
What it does in the body: HCG signals the hypothalamus to mobilize fat stores. In pregnancy, this helps the body bring nutrients into the placenta, fueling the fetus with the energy to grow.
They say you have to combine hcg with a 500 cal diet. It's ridiculous how low that is. Off course you'll lose weight if you eat almost nothing but the thing is that you won't fell hungry. Hcg takes your fat to produce the energy you need.
Ok, Now I read a bunch of studies, and all of those studies say that it doesn't work. I see posts saying that it's illegal in Belgium and 5 mins late I see posts saying that you can get a refund from your healthcare... (this shit is expensive)
So why do I see tons and tons of post from people saying it does work??
btw: I will never use anything like pills/injections to lose weight. Sports and a new eating manners are the way to go. A bit slower but healthy!!
it's good that i don't that
ReplyDeleteSounds like another weight loss scam to me. Some piece of rubbish

ReplyDeleteso, they get this stuff from pregnant women's piss? your going to consume the biproduct of a womans piss so you can lose weight? instead, why don't you get surgery, it's alot less extreme in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteHm, I've never heard of it. Sounds weird.
ReplyDeleteAnother diet scam, people want to believe
ReplyDeleteprobably doesn't work.
ReplyDeletedecrease calories by 10-15% and exercise more is the way to go!
I've never heard of this diet.
ReplyDeleteJust sounds like another scam! Highly doubt it works.
ReplyDeleteThat just sounds downright unhealthy. It's the weirdest thing I've heard of it. I don't believe it has hit America yet.
ReplyDeleteDon't try those things, they never work..just hit the Gym a few times a week and there u go..weightloss!
ReplyDeleteThey are ignorant!
ReplyDeleteI agree with everyone here, stick with the gym.
ReplyDeleteThis all sounds rather disgusting if you ask me.
ReplyDeleteyeah I was never thinking about using this. but just shows how far people will go.
ReplyDeleteReduce calorie intake. Exercise. ????. Profit!
ReplyDeleteWell, if you don't try, you can't if it works or not. Thought it's better to eat healthy stuff and exercise.
ReplyDeleteP90X works
ReplyDeletejust like you'll hear that you need to eat 150g of protein a day from protein suppliment makers, even though your body can't take in more than 30-50g at a time and you pee the rest out. Everything you hear about its "success" is likely from the people who produce the stuff. It's all about the advertisement baby.
ReplyDeletehealthy eating, cardio, healthy eating, cardi cardio, gym, eat like a whale, eat, eat, gym, cardio, eat, gym, gym, eat , eat, eat
ReplyDeleteI hope this isn't some sort of a scam that is highjacking peoples fbs to claim their product works.
ReplyDeleteScience will never overcome Sport. Just do exercice and you'll be fine !
ReplyDeleteI agree with Metah! Sport and exercise are good enough as well as eating everything in moderation!
ReplyDeletethat sounds incredibly dangerous, not to mention 500 cal is pretty much starving yourself.
